Project Manager
John Mooers III serves as a Project Manager at Blue Stone, where he manages a diverse portfolio of economic development and owner’s representative projects across Indian Country. He combines strategic insight with hands-on project execution to help Tribal Nations bring complex initiatives from concept to completion.
Since 2019, John has supported and led projects ranging from Travel Center developments and feasibility studies to strategic planning sessions and economic diversification plans. His work includes guiding multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects, developing land use and business plans, and facilitating Tribal leadership work sessions focused on long-term sustainability and sovereignty.
John is recognized for his ability to build strong relationships with Tribal leaders, align diverse stakeholders, and translate broad community goals into measurable outcomes. His experience working with Tribes of all sizes has given him a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within Indian Country.
Driven by a commitment to advancing Tribal self-sufficiency and economic growth, John approaches every project with a focus on helping communities thrive economically, culturally, and for generations to come. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Colorado Boulder.
