Eric Metcalf joins Blue Stone Strategy after 33 years’ experience in Indian Country. Eric graduated from Western Oregon University with a B.S. in Health. He has led many tribal health organizations as a CEO in three different IHS areas, served on his Tribal Council, and assisted many tribes as a nationwide consultant. Eric served over 30 years as the primary delegate to the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. As a board delegate he was appointed to the National Budget Formulation workgroup, Facility Appropriation Advisory Board (FAAB), and Purchase and Referred Care (PRC) IHS Director’s workgroup. Eric has guided many tribes through PL 93-638 and the Self-Governance process.

Metcalf specializes in building holistic clinics for tribes at little to no cost and has completed several construction projects for tribes. Eric has assisted many tribes in developing programs including PRC, Pharmacy, Medical, Dental, Behavioral Health, Business Office, Physical/Massage Therapy, Fitness/Prevention, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), Administration, Social Services, and Self-Funded Insurance programs.
