Leah Hart-Ross, brings over 27 years of healthcare experience, including over 16 years of healthcare operations management and business analytics and strategy. Leah’s experience includes work in private, non-profit, and tribal sectors; she has successfully managed, restructured, and improved multiple existing programs, and has been key in developing several new build ventures. One of Leah’s recent projects includes the development and operationalization of a new 46-bed in-patient culturally informed treatment center for the Colville Tribe in Washington State, and most recently, Leah worked as the Chief Operating Officer for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe’s Marimn Health Center in Idaho where she oversaw operations of the health center programs and successfully reorganized and restructured the Behavior Health and Dental Departments.

Leah is a member of the Nez Perce Tribe and the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Leah proudly served in the United States Navy and has earned a Master’s Degree in Legal Studies with a focus on Tribal Law and Governance from Seattle University School of Law, along with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management – Public Sector.

Leah has a true drive and passion for helping Tribes understand that healthcare is a business, and that a successful healthcare system can provide both quality care for their patients and an expansion of healthcare services that will directly benefit their communities.
