Human Resources Services Director
Alicia Finley, SPHR, SHRM-SCP and THRP has 22 years of collective experience in the Human Resources and benefits field, as well as 11 years of project management experience, and has significant experience in consulting with Tribal clients on a wide variety of Human Resources issues. Finley consults with clients on compensation planning, design and structure, and benefits evaluations; succession and strategic planning; mentoring and training; leadership development and coaching; Human Resources department operational assessments and organizational assessments; performance evaluation systems; recruiting; employee relations; policies and procedures, and technical topics, such as the Affordable Care Act and FLSA; as well as COVID-19 related policies and procedures such as Interim Hazard Pay, Return to Workplace, Interim Administrative Pay, FFCRA (expanded Sick Leave and Family Medical Leave).
Finley is a certified Tribal Human Resources Professional (THRP), a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Human Resource Management Association of New Mexico, World at Work, and the National Native American HR Association (NNAHRA). She serves on the Board of Cuidando los Niños (in their initiative to serve, protect, and educate homeless children); and is also active in Junior Achievement of New Mexico. She holds the SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from the Society for Human Resources Management and the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute, and is working towards her Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation.
Finley is a nationally-recognized speaker at NNAHRA and NIGA, and has a deep love and passion for serving Tribal communities; it has become her focused practice area and she appreciates the opportunity to serve her clients in whatever capacity they need.
