Connor McClelland brings to Blue Stone over 7 years of experience as an agricultural professional with incredible insight and experience in the science of soil management and crop production.

McClelland is the CEO of San Diego Agricultural Laboratory, an agricultural testing and crop consulting company based in Fallbrook, CA. For the past two years, Connor has been working as the CEO and head agronomist at San Diego Agricultural Laboratory, servicing primarily avocado and citrus growers in San Diego, Riverside and Orange counties. The Laboratory services over 10,000 acres of farmland in the tri-county area.

Prior to coming on at the Laboratory, Connor was the owner and operator of McClelland McIntyre Ranch, a mixed production farm in Ramona, with 10 acres of citrus and avocados and over 1000 combined laying hens and broilers raised on 20 acres of pasture.

In addition to his work at the Laboratory, Connor spent a year implementing an agricultural development project in Haiti helping augment local food production as well as founding an agricultural university in the rural town of Jeremie. The project in Haiti, now being run by Haitian nationals, is currently in its fifth year and continues to support the education of local farmers, agronomists and students.

Connor holds a B.S. in agronomy with an emphasis in soil science from Kansas State University with a secondary major in natural resources and environmental science. While attending Kansas State University, Connor worked as a research assistant on a variety of projects in the crop physiology and soil physics departments.
