Taryn Reynolds is an Osage Tribal member, a strategic human resources leader, and a mother of seven, dedicated to strengthening Tribal sovereignty through people, culture, and organizational systems. Her work sits at the intersection of leadership, policy, and employee experience, where she partners with Tribal governments, gaming enterprises, and Native organizations to build HR functions that reflect community values while driving organizational effectiveness.

Taryn is known for her ability to navigate complex employee relations, guide leaders through difficult decisions, and design HR strategies that are both practical and culturally grounded. Her approach centers on trust, accountability, and alignment, ensuring that leadership, systems, and culture work together to support both employees and the broader mission of Tribal organizations. Her perspective is shaped not only by her professional experience but also by her role as a mother, where leadership, resilience, and balance are lived every day.

Educational Background

Taryn holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in strategic leadership. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in strategic leadership, with a research focus on human resources leadership in Tribal organizations.

She also holds the Tribal Human Resources Professional II (THRP II) certification, demonstrating advanced expertise in HR practices specific to Tribal governments and enterprises.

Leadership, Board Service & Recognition

Taryn is deeply committed to service, leadership, and strengthening communities both professionally and locally. She currently serves as the elected vice president of the Pawhuska Public Schools Board of Education, supporting governance, accountability, and student success.

She is also a recognized voice in Indian Country, having received the NCAIED Native American 40 Under 40 Award in 2025 and graduated from the AICCO Leadership Native Oklahoma cohort. In 2026, Taryn was selected as a keynote speaker for the American Indigenous Business Leaders Student Conference.

Additionally, she was selected as a speaker for the Reservation Economic Summit (RES) in March 2026, the Tribal Leadership Council (TLC) Conference in June 2026, the WEWIN Conference in July 2026, and the NNAHRA Conference in September 2026. Taryn has also presented at the Oklahoma Tribal Finance Consortium.

Through her leadership, speaking, and service, Taryn continues to advocate for stronger alignment between leadership, culture, and systems, advancing both organizational effectiveness and Tribal sovereignty.
