Subject Matter Expert

Tom resides in Denver, CO and is a tribal member of the Gros Ventre located on the Fort Belknap reservation in north central Montana. Professional, he is a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and throughout his career, Tom has worked for large corporations in leadership roles in various industries, including healthcare, financial services, and energy. Most recently, Tom served as the executive leader/Chief Audit Executive of Global Medical Response, the nation’s largest air and ground ambulatory company.

Tom is an enthusiastic leader that takes charge of any situation and finds resolution to challenges. He strongly believes in motivating others to progress their career in a team environment and takes ownership and pride in his work. Tom thrives in design and implementation of change management projects to improve effectiveness and reduce costs.

In addition to his career, Tom became an EMT at GMR to better understand the daily work of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and served on an EMS crew in his free time. Tom loves his amazing wife and daughter, and enjoys Colorado outdoor activities such as road cycling, hiking and trail running.
