Healthcare Project Manager
As a member of the Navajo Nation, Emmeleta Burruel is of the Red Running into Water clan and Born for the Mexican clan and grew up in Many Farms, Arizona.
Burruel brings more than 10 years of management experience working within the mental health and substance abuse space for a non-profit urban Native American organization. This experience provided opportunities to work with not only urban Native Americans, but also the regional Tribal Communities surrounding the organization. Working in this capacity, Burruel became familiar with local, regional, and Tribal organizations across Northern Arizona. Through her community outreach, she has helped build partnerships to provide resources to under-served communities.
Burruel’s breadth of experience includes Human Resources, Information Technology, Meeting Logistics, Accounting, Finance, Training, Presentations and Conference Planning. She worked to plan and coordinate one of Northern Arizona’s regional mental health conferences providing a diverse platform for local, regional, and tribal communities to share ideas and best practices.
Burruel joined the Blue Stone Healthcare team in July of 2022.
