David C. Tonemah adds to the Blue Stone team a wealth of knowledge years of experience in the area of Indian Health.

David brings over 30 years’ experience in Indian Health. Having worked in all three arenas of the Indian Health Delivery System, he has managed to accomplish the Indian Health trifecta. Tonemah has worked for the Indian Health Service, an Urban Indian Health Program, and a Tribally Operated Health System serving in leadership and management level positions. Tonemah has had the unique experience of having seen how health care is provided from each perspective. Through his experience he has mastered his skills in project management, time management and developing final deliverables that meet each client’s expectations.

Beyond his health care experience, he has gained experience as a leader and manager of people and programs. He knows what it takes to establish priorities, set goals, mentor and develop staff. Tonemah is an enrolled member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and earned his undergraduate degree in Health Care Administration from Oklahoma Baptist University and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
