Brandon Smith is a proud member of the Navajo and Oglala Sioux Tribes, identifying as Tsi’naajinii (Black Streaked Wood People) and born for the Oglala Sioux Tribe. Raised in Iyanbito, New Mexico, Brandon has a deep connection to his heritage and community.
Brandon earned an Associates degree in Pre-Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of New Mexico (UNM). Continuing his academic journey, Brandon went on to achieve a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Phoenix.
With over 15 years of experience as a C-Suite executive, Brandon has worked in both the public and private sectors, including tribal health programs. He has a proven track record in delivering safe, high-quality patient services and developing organizational policies that drive operational, personnel, and financial growth.
