Workshops
• Using Gaming Revenues to Ensure Tribal Sustainability
Tuesday, March 31, 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM, Room 22
FOCUS: Tribal nations implement tribal sovereignty on a daily basis by creating tribal law, managing government services, and owning and operating tribal businesses. Gaming revenues may be the primary revenue driver for a tribe to promote self-reliance. Learning key strategies to recognize and build a true partnership between the gaming management and tribal Leaders is essential for a successful economy that provides for tribal sustainability and self-sufficiency.
• Key Strategies for Diversifying Gaming Revenues to Grow Tribal Economies
Tuesday, March 31, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM, Room 25C
FOCUS: Tribal nations are recognizing the declines in gaming and federal revenues, and realize that it is essential to plan for future sustainability. With so much at stake, creating a clear economic roadmap with accountability will prepare tribal nations for a sustainable economic development future to help diversify their primary revenue source, gaming.
Blue Stone will also be on the trade show floor, booth #1350, to meet with Tribal leaders.

The Blue Stone Workshop presentations are derived from a culmination of experience and observations of best practices from throughout Indian Country on how Tribal Nations are protecting sovereignty by focusing on building strong Tribal economies. “We feel building and managing strong economies is a top priority for Tribal Nations, today.
